The mission of experts of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) which has been working in Moscow since June 13th plans to complete on Tuesday the consultations with the Russian economic departments on the questions of financial-budget policy.
So far representatives of the mission, as well as the Moscow office of the IMF have refrained from any comments on the results of the work. But the officials both of the Finance Ministry and of the Fund earlier noted that one of the main questions is linked with the preparation of the federal budget for the year of 2003.
The programme of assessment of the Russian financial sector which is joint for Russia and the IMF and the first phase of which was completed in April 2002 was also discussed in the course of the mission's work.
