Gazprom and Naftogaz of Ukraine sign gas transit contract
Gazprom, the Russian gas giant, and Haftogaz of Ukraine, the national Ukrainian gas company, signed today in Kharkov a contract on the transit of 110 billion cubic meters of natural gas through Ukraine, according to the report of the Ukrainian company. The contract comes into force in 2003 and expires in 2013. The contract was signed by the representatives of the Executive Boards of Naftogaz of Ukraine and Gazprom Igor Voronin and Alexander Ryazanov.
