Rosoboronexport to participate in CHINA POLICE-2002 exhibition

The Rosoboronexport arms export company is to present the products of over 10 Russian producers of arms, military equipment and special security facilities at the China International Exhibition on Police Technologies and Equipment - CHINA POLICE-2002, which will take place in Beijing (China) from June 11 till June 14, 2002. As the press service of Rosoboronexport reported, among the exhibits is criminalistic equipment, non-lethal means of neutralization of offenders, systems of audio and video surveillance, communication equipment, means of individual protection, traffic control equipment, night-sights, equipment for providing protection of borders and high-priority assets, passage systems for the points of border control and radio control systems.

The exhibition is organized by the State Security Ministry of China for exchanging experience and entering into cooperation with leading world producers of technologies and equipment for the police and public security forces. This exhibition is evidence of the joining together of forces for fighting international terrorism, drug trafficking, smuggling and the taking of hostages.
