There will be no problems with the ratification by the Russian Parliament of START-III, which was signed last week by the Russian and US Presidents, this was disclosed during the briefing on Tuesday by Speaker of the Federation Council /Upper Chamber/ Sergey Mironov.
At the same time, he believes, that parliament will begin to ratify the document only after several months, probably in autumn. The fact is, that the Foreign Ministry will need time to prepare the necessary documents, the Chairman of the Federation Council stressed. Moreover, in July the Federation Council will be off for summer vacations, he said.
"But I am confident that the START-III will have another destiny than those documents, which were left waiting for ratification for many years," Mironov underlined.
