President Putin to send budget message to government

This week President of Russia Vladimir Putin will send to the government the budget message which will determine the principles of the formation of the budget for next year.

The president himself said this at a traditional Monday meeting with government members in the Kremlin.

Vladimir Putin stressed that it is necessary to lay down in the budget "such parameters which would make it possible to fulfil the taken cardinal decisions both in the economy and in the development of the Armed Forces." "Everything must be aimed at improving the population's well-being," the head of state said. He also noted that "the work on the document must be deprived of Populism."
