The volume of reserves at the Khvalynsk deposit in the north of the Caspian Sea, which was explored by LUKoil, reached about 130bn tons of natural gas and 10bn tons of condensate, LUKoil Vice President Anatoly Novikov announced at the second international oil and gas summit in Astrakhan today. The summit is called 'The Caspian Sea in the 21st century: from politics to business'. According to the LUKoil official, the total volume of reserves at this deposit was estimated at 950m tons of fuel equivalent.
