Russian and North Korean officials discuss connection of two countries' railroads

Today Sergey Darkin, governor of the Primorsky region, is to meet with a North Korean delegation headed by the foreign minister of this republic. Earlier the Russian and North Korean foreign ministers spoke in favor of connecting the railroad systems of the two countries aiming at the creation of the transport corridor from Korea to Europe. The construction of the railroad, which will connect the Korean railroad with Transsib and finally with Europe, will be discussed at today's meeting. Today the North Korean delegation will leave for Pyongyang.
