Mongolia's conference-presentation in Irkutsk (Siberia)

A "Mongolia Open For You" two-day conference-presentation has opened in Irkutsk (Siberia) on May 23rd. The Mongolian government proclaimed 2002 the year of foreign investment in the country's economy, Mongolian General Consular to Irkutsk Luvsandordjin Mundagbaatar told RIA Novosti. According to him, Mongolia has some 300 enterprises with foreign investments. The current presentation in Irkutsk should boost cooperation with Siberian businessmen. The greater part (40 per cent) of Russian-Mongolian trade turnover falls on the Irkutsk region. In 2002 the construction of a Mongolian business centre with offices, a hotel, a restaurant and a trading house will be launched in 2002. It will be completed in 2004.
