Gazprom stocks expected to continue upsurge

Experts commented on the dynamics of Gazprom stocks in an interview with RBC and noted that the current situation with these securities was most likely connected with optimistic expectations of market participants concerning Gazprom stocks. The general situation on the stock market is positive as well. Stock analysts reported that the trade volume had not been high over the past several days and demand for Gazprom securities was steady. Experts forecast the current rise in stocks of the Russian gas giant may continue. At the same time, they stated that the market was still consolidating. Analysts did not rule out that a rise in Gazprom stocks would resume only after a slight correction, when prices could drop to RUR 29.8-29.95. At the same time, they are positive there are no reasons for the active fixing of profits, and the Gazprom section would return to previous highs after a possible correction. Specialists stressed this was not the final forecast, as the situation on the market was changing. Gazprom stocks may even surpass the previous maximum level in view of demand for these securities, they concluded.
