Temperatures of up to 47є C have caused tens of deaths in India.
At least 54 people have died as a consequence of the heat-wave in the centre and south of the country. Indian News Agency PTI informs that in the centre of the country, in Madhya Pradesh, four children have died from heat-stroke and in the southern province of Andhra Pradesh, the death toll has reached 50.
