The session of the Inter-State Council of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) opens in Moscow on Monday. As the RIA Novosti correspondent was told by EurAsEC secretary General Grigory Rapota, the EurAsEC summit will be attended for the first time by Moldavian President Vladimir Voronin, apart from the Presidents of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kirghizia, Russia and Tajikistan. The session participants will consider the question of granting Moldavia the status of an observer. The agenda of the session of the highest body of this new international economic organisation includes a broad range of issues of integration cooperation between the member-countries. In particular, the session participants will discuss the process of forming an organisational and legal basis for the activity of the EurAsEC and the questions connected with working out the mechanism to protect internal markets of the Commonwealth countries in conditions of non-application of special protective, anti-dumping and compensation measures in mutual trade. Apart from that, the participants in the EurAsEC session will pay attention to perfecting the mechanism of inter-state cooperation in joining the World Trade Organisation and will also discuss the draft fundamentals of the EurAsEC's border policy and a number of other documents connected with the development of the integration processes in the Eurasian space. The sessions of the EurAsEC Inter-State Council are held once a year. This session will consider altogether nineteen questions. It is also expected that nine or ten inter-state documents will be signed.
