Father repudiates his bandit son

Abdulla Khalilov, father of field commander Rappani Khalilov suspected of masterminding the terrorist act in Kaspiisk, stated at a meeting with journalists in the Interior Ministry of Dagestan that he repudiated his son. The bandit's father stated: "Rappani, I am your major enemy. If you are caught, I will burn you alive. I cannot call you my son any more." He stressed that he and his relatives did not forgive Rappani. In conclusion Abdulla Khalilov stated: "If you have anything human left inside you, I beg you to surrender." Andilgerei Magomedtagirov, minister of the interior of Dagestan, stated at the meeting in Makhachkala that all terrorist acts committed in the recent months in Dagestan, including Kaspiisk, were credited to Rappani Khalilov and his detachment. Magomedtagirov stated that he personally would head the operation to arrest the bandit who was hiding in Nozhai-Yurt district of Chechnya. The minister stated that "no forgiveness would be granted to him."
