About 900 People To Attend Victory Day Reception In Kremlin

A gala reception dedicated to the 57th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War (World War II) will be held in the State Kremlin Palace on Thursday. Approximately 900 people, including veterans, prominent commanders, statesmen, politicians and cultural figures have been invited to the gala. According to Viktor Khrekov, the Press Secretary of the Kremlin's Management Department, 50 Kremlin waiters and 100 waiters from Moscow's best restaurants will serve guests to be sitting at 82 tables. According to Khrekov, the menu takes heed of veterans' tastes. That is why the reception will be more like a traditional Russian holiday rather than a formal event.
