Victory-Day festivities in Moscow saw another escapade apparently on the part of National Bolsheviks. In the centre of Russian capital city, police detained yesterday a young man who tried to hoist a Soviet flag on the famous Bolshoi Theatre building. The incident occurred during the traditional reunion of World War II veterans in front of the Bolshoi. A young man, carrying a red flag, was trying to climb to the building’s roof. He was promptly seized by police and taken to the nearest precinct. The offender presumably belongs to Eduard Limonov’ National Bolshevik Party.
