Representatives Of Russian And Lebanese Business Quarters To Meet In Beirut May 13-17

The meeting of representatives of the Russian and Lebanese business quarters will take place in Beirut on May 13-17. As the RIA Novosti correspondent was told by Russian trade representative in Lebanon Vladimir Naumenko, this forum has been organised by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, headed by Arkady Volsky, and by the Federation of the Trade, Industrial and Agricultural Chambers of Lebanon whose president is well-known entrepreneur Adnan Kassar. Vladimir Naumenko added that the meeting of Russian and Lebanese businessmen fits in with the efforts of the Lebanese leaders aimed at returning to the country its status of a trade crossing of the three continents and of a financial and economic center of the Middle East. According to the Russian trade representative, in this process Russia is regarded as a strategic partner. The Russian delegation consists of heads of industrial and agricultural enterprises and associations and of the Russian regions.
