Workshop, falsifying signatures found in the Russian city

A workshop for falsification of signatures was detected in the conference hall of a hotel Oka in the Nizhny Novgorod. The hotel was examined after an inhabitant of the city had called the epolice. In the course of the examination of the building policemen found lists of signatures to propose State Duma depute Dmitry Savelyev as a candidate for Governor elections of the region. As a matter of fact, posts for collecting signatures were arranged in central streets of Nizhny Novgorod. This posts were engaged in collecting signatures to introduce death penalty for distribution of drugs and to prohibit homosexuals to go in for educational work. Fake lists of signatures for this initiatives were detected in Oka hotel, too. About 50 persons were involved in the falsification of signatures. The organiser of the action was detained, other members of the group were set free.
