Azerbaijani, Turkmenian Experts Negotiate In Ashkhabad

An Azerbaijani delegation headed by deputy foreign minister Khalaf Khalafov holds in Ashkhabad negotiations with Turkmenian experts on disputable issues of laying the middle line in the Caspian sea. The head of the Azerbaijani delegation said that the consultations suppose only an exchange of opinions and presentation of bilateral proposals on the existing Caspian problems. According to Khalafov, the issue of disputable deposits is not supposed to be discussed. The meeting is held behind closed doors, so there is no information on the course of the talks and the positions of the parties yet.
