Belarus Prepared To Expand Cooperation With Russian Gas Company Itera

President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus discussed Wednesday with head of the ITERA international group of companies Igor Makarov issues of cooperation expansion between Belarus and this gas company. Mr Lukashenko reported that he is prepared to offer the ITERA company a number of profitable investment projects in Belarus. "If the conditions are suitable, I'll immediately instruct the government to work them out in detail," Mr Lukashenko said. He expressed gratitude to the ITERA company for large volumes of natural gas delivered to Belarus, which, according to Alexander Lukashenko, "allowed Belarus to live through winter."
