Russia will cut off electricity supplies to Ukraine until it fulfils the mandatory provisions stipulated in agreements reached between the Presidents of Russia and Ukraine, declared Anatoly Chubais, who heads Russia's largest monopoly in the sphere, UES, or Unified Energy Systems Co. The Ukrainian government has to pass a resolution concerning the fulfilment of Russian-Ukrainian agreements on parallel work of their energy grids that were signed by the two president, stressed Chubais as he was addressing a regular annual meeting of UES shareholders. According to Chubais, the document stipulates the procedure for Ukraine to pay its electricity debt to Russia.
