An annual general meeting of shareholders of RAO Unified Energy Systems of Russia will be held today. 29 candidates are running for 15 vacancies in the Board of Directors of the company. 15 candidates were nominated by the major shareholder of the energy giant, i. e. the state and 14 - by private shareholders. In particular, the government nominated the Secretary of State, First Deputy Industry, Science and Technologies Minister, the Economic Development and Trade Minister, the Deputy property Minister, the Deputy Premier and Finance Minister and other high-ranking officials.
