Closer state financial control will help reduce corruption and clamp down on grey capital, said Sergei Stepashin, chairman of the Audit Chamber of the Russian Federation, at the seminar "Participation of Financial Supervision Bodies in Planning the State Budget of Russia". Mr. Stepashin said that the struggle against corruption and money-laundering is the task of great importance for all countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
