On Tuesday, the Geneva Prosecutor's Office will consider the possibility of releasing Pavel Borodin on bail. Borodin, the state secretary of the Union of Russia and Belarus, was arrested in the United States on money-laundering charges and extradited to Switzerland, RIA Novosti reports. Borodin's lawyers, who hope to bail out Borodin by convincing the prosecutor that the state secretary's arrest was unsubstantiated, say measure of restraint for Borodin may be changed without any bail.
