A burnt metal piece about 70cm long and 1m wide, believed to be a fragment of the scuttled Mir orbiter, has damaged a greenhouse in a farm in the Babayurt district of the republic of Daghestan, North Caucasus, the local Novoye Dyelo newpaper reports, featuring the object’s photo. Cucumbers and radish have been grown in the greenhouse. Besides, a heard of sheep, scared by the blast, scattered in various directions from the adjacent pen. 3 sheep are still missing. The local farmers are planning to sue the Russian Aerospace Agency for damages.
