Yugoslavian President Vojislav Kostunica suggested that March, 24 be proclaimed as a Memorial Day of all those who were killed and injured as a result of NATO aggression in Yugoslavia in spring 1999. Kostunica sent a letter to Yugoslavian PM Zoran Zizik, proposing to consider this suggestion at a sitting of Yugoslavian parliament, Beta Press reports. "I suppose that it should be done not only because of the reasons of moral, but because of political reasons as well". “As an entire state and a nation, we must remember and should not forget the damage and evil, done to us by others, just like we should remember all the bad things which we caused to other peoples. This is the only to refrain from repetition of these things in the future,” Kostunica’s message says.
