Russian President Vladimir Putin has flown from Khakassia to Moscow, presidential press secretary Alexei Gromov is quoted by RIA Novosti as saying. As has already been reported, Mr. Putin was on holiday in the Republic of Khakassia (a republic of the Russian Federation in Siberia). On March 13th, the presidential plane landed at the airport of Abakan, the capital of the republic. From the airport the President and the persons accompanying him flew on helicopters in the south-western direction towards the foothills of the Altai where the mountain-skiing station Gladenkaya is located. Vladimir Putin spent there two days and then one more day in a hunting hut in taiga.
