Pavel Borodin, former Kremlin property manager and current state secretary of the Russia-Belarus union, was rushed to a civilian hospital from the New York jail where he has been kept. "Borodin has been hospitalized suffering from a possible heart attack," journalists were told at Borodin's office. However, medics have yet not confirmed the preliminary diagnosis. "Borodin's lawyers were not notified about the hospitalisation of the state secretary for two hours," his aides said. Earlier Borodin said that he was feeling increasingly worse and complained about his blood pressure and heart, Interfax reports. He said that on Saturday he had spent "two hours under an oxygen mask" and stayed in bed for the past two days.
