Why not to turn traffic lights into disco-lights?

An unusual theft was committed in Ulianovsk region of Russia. Two locals of the settlement of Isheyevka stole traffic lights from a crossroad. They decided that this device could be used at a party instead of disco-lights. The ingenious guys got ready for their action: they drank a lot to be brave. After that they went to the crossroad in the night and wrenched out the traffic lights. But while carrying their “plunder” home, the unlucky robbers met the head of the local administration on their way, who gave them up to police. The court sentenced them to 8 thousand rubles of penalty (about $ 300) and put them on probation.
