Amnesty international attacks USA as 700th victim is condemned to death penalty and sales of torture equipment are revealed

Amnesty International has launched an attack on the USA for its practice of using the death penalty, as other countries in the world abolish it. In the last 25 years, 700 people have been condemned to death in the United States. Amnesty International also accused the USA of disrespect for fundamental human rights, including charges of physical, social and racial discrimination and accuses the US justice system of committing a great number of judicial mistakes. Amnesty International America makes a shocking revelation in its claim that the United States exports equipment for torture, despite knowing that the equipment will be used for this end, in Israel, Egypt and Saudi Arabia, among others. The organisation claims that more than 80 US companies are involved in “the manufacture, marketing and export of the type of weapons and other equipment used to torture over the past decade – more than in any other country”. The equipment mentioned includes a cylinder-shaped object which gives electric shocks, leg-irons, serrated thumbscrews, electroshock belts, shackle-boards and pepper gas. Some global policeman!
