American cinematographers were not admitted to the bases of Russian Navy

American group of cinematographers, working at the film about an accident at Soviet submarine K-19, was not admitted to the territory of the units and formations and to the vessels of the Russian Navy, the press-service of the Russian Navy reported. A spokesman for the press-service explained it by the fact that “the movie “K-19” is not a documentary, and the American scenario doesn’t correspond the real events in many respects”. Meanwhile the filming of the episodes in Russia’s capital is complete. In the episodes, which took place in the streets of Moscow under the direction of Kathrin Bigelow, such stars of Hollywood as Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson took part.
