The Russian Prosecutor General's office this week will send documents related to the so-called Mabetex case requested by the Swiss prosecutor. Former head of the team that investigated the case and current deputy department chief at the office Ruslan Tamayev told Interfax on Wednesday that the translation of several materials into French is almost completed, among them the resolution of the Prosecutor General's office to close the criminal case against Pavel Borodin, Interfax announces. Borodin, former Kremlin property manager and current state secretary of the Russia-Belarus union, now in custody in the United States, was a witness in the Mabetex case. "We intend to fulfil all the requests of the Swiss exactly and on time, and are ready for further co-operation," Tamayev said.
