Tooth began to grow in the month of 104-year-old woman

A 104-year-old patient of Drozhonosk District Hospital, the republic of Tatarstan, Russia, surprised doctors by saying that new tooth began to grow in her month. It is a unique case, Tatarstan Health Ministry reported. A few cases of adults’ tooth renewal were mentioned in the Guinness Book. But it has never happened to a person, who is more than 100 years old. Three tooth are simultaneously growing in the month of Maria Vasilieva. She is glad about it. “Now I’ll be able to eat spice-cakes”, the long-liver says. Local dentists observe this infrequent phenomenon. The woman lives alone. Her husband and children died long ago. She runs the house, keeps poultry and a kitchen garden, keeps an eye on TV and radio news. In this thinly populated district of Tatarstan there are 8 persons over one hundred years old. But only Maria Vasilieva has new tooth.
