A parcel blows up at the main post office of Georgia

1 died and 1 injured badly as a result of explosion on Tuesday afternoon at the basement of the Main Post Office in Tbilisi (the capital of Georgia). Two employees of Tbilisi City Department of Georgian Security Ministry were invited to the Main Post Office to examine a parcel which seemed to the Post Office officials suspicious, Security Ministry of Georgia reports. The parcel was addressed to an undetermined firm. On opening of the parcel an explosion sounded. One of employees of security agency died, the other was injured and hospitalised, RIA Novosti announced. The investigation began. Chiefs of law-enforcement agencies of the country arrived at the occurrence location. The Main Post Office is open, the building was not damaged.
