The Russian Prosecutor General's Office arrested head of the Media-MOST financial department Anton Titov on Tuesday. The Media-MOST chief financier is charged with fraud, Titov's lawyer Mikhail Burmistrov has said. "Frankly speaking, we were expecting such a decision, taking into account the position assumed by the Prosecutor General's Office on the Vladimir Gusinsky case," the lawyer said. No official indictment has so far been brought against Titov, Burmistrov said. "My client has been arrested for ten days according to Article 90" of the Russian Criminal Code, the lawyer said, adding that the Media-MOST chief financier must be either indicted or released from custody within this timeframe, Interfax reports. Titov will be placed into the Butyrsky detention centre where Media-MOST CEO Vladimir Gusinsky was held in custody for three days last summer, Burmistrov said.
