Russian President Vladimir Putin is going to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan on January 9-11 and sign a number of important documents, the Trend agency quoted Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Vilayat Guliyev as saying. These are, in particular, declarations on political, economic and international relations. In addition, Putin and Azerbaijani officials are expected to sign a document on the legal status of the Caspian Sea, which would reflect the interests of both Russia and Azerbaijan, "Oreanda" announces. An agreement on a highway between Russia and Azerbaijan is also planned to be secured.
