Russian space industry lost 6 satellites at once. The satellites were supposed to be delivered to orbit by carrier rocket Tsiklon-3, which had started from Plesetsk space-vehicle site in Arhangelsk region. The rocket took off without problems, but at the appointed time the third stage of the space vehicle failed to turn on the engines and to gather speed for orbiting. The attempts to find the satellites were not success. To all appearances, a breakdown happened at the third stage of the rocket and the space vehicles fell to the ground as a result of it. The suppositional place of the satellites’ falling is Vrangel Island. Special committee investigates the reasons of the accident.
