Today the chief of Russian government Mikhail Kasianov introduced a motion in the State Duma to postpone the consideration of Labour Tax project till the next year. Last Thursday a State Duma depute of Right-Wing forces proposed “not to mar the holiday” – the New Year and to postpone the consideration of the Labour Code, arousing so many disputes, till the next year. The representative of the government agreed with the suggestion. On Thursday the State Duma deputes were sure that Kasianov would address Duma with the appeal about postponing. So, the celebration of the New Year will not be overshadowed. But it is unclear how the State Duma is planing to adopt the Labour Tax the next year: will the deputes agree to spoil other holidays, being celebrated in Russia, such as Russia Army Day (February 23), International Women’s day (March, 8), The day of Peace and Labour (May 1), etc. This way we will stay without the Labour Tax.
