Russian Tax Minister: bringning a suit to liquidate several Media-MOST companies was "strictly predetermined by Russian laws"

Recent activities of the Russian tax inspection which had brought a suit to liquidate several Media-MOST companies "were strictly predetermined by Russian laws," Russian Tax Minister Gennady Bukayev reported to journalists today. According to him, NTV has tax arrears. Since this fact was revealed, the tax inspection of the Central District of Moscow had to check the balance of the company. As a result of the check, it became clear that NTV is not able to pay off the debt. "In that case, tax inspectors had nothing to do but to bring a relative suit against the company," Bukayev was quoted by RBC as saying.
