Georgia to leave CIS

Georgia may leave CIS. Georgian politics consider that its that only way to make for real integration into European structures. Georgian parliament is ready to consider the question of leaving CIS. Member of the parliament Akaky Asatiani, the leader of the Unit of Georgian Traditionalists, said today at the sitting of the parliament that Russia prompted Georgia to leave CIS by introducing visa regime. Asatiani reminded that Georgia is the only state of CIS where visa regime was introduced. Within all the years the Commonwealth exists, Georgia didn’t obtain anything from it, Asatini thinks.
