Russian Premier Mikhail Kasyanov said today that there were no grounds for assuming an upcoming resignation of the Russian government now. He had a conversation with President Vladimir Putin, after it he met with journalists and expressed his doubts about "the latest interpretation of Putin's criticism against the Cabinet of Ministers by various mass media sources being right," - RBC reports. It is worth mentioning that the criticism concerned the problem of replacing privileges to servicemen with money compensations. This problem needs to be thoroughly examined by all ministries and departments and will be resolved not by January 1, 2001 but by April 1, 2001, Kasyanov noted.
