Russia hopes that the agreement reached by Palestine and Israel will be realized

Russian authorities support an agreement on the cessation of violence reached by Palestine and Israel, the information department of the Foreign Ministry reports. Russia hopes that the agreement will be realized. As is known, Russia has been making efforts to stop the tragic development of events in Palestinian territories. At present, both countries should be extremely patent and composed to be able to prevent any provocation. The current efforts should be directed at the stabilization of the situation, restoration of order, prevention of violence recurrence, which might create a favorable atmosphere for resuming the Arabian-Israeli political dialogue and comprehensive settlement of the crisis in the region, RBC announces. The Foreign Ministry stresses that it is necessary to make corresponding conclusions from the current events and take effective measures to strengthen the peace process.
