Indian envoy in Moscow

Exports of Russian weapons to India will neither aggravate the relations between Russia and Pakistan nor negatively influence the situation in the region on the whole. The above opinion was expressed by Indian envoy to Russia Satinder Lambah at a press conference in Moscow. He mentioned that India and Russia had been close partners for a long time, RBC reports. November 2000 the two countries will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the military technical cooperation between them. "Exports of Russian weapons to India are a part of our strategic cooperation and they have never been directed against other countries," the envoy stressed.
