KURSK GOVERNOR TO ADDRESS FEDERATION COUNCIL

Aleksandr Rutskoi, the Kursk Region’s governor, is today to address the Federation Council, Russia’ upper house of parliament, and tell his colleagues of the situation around the gubernatorial elections in the region. As Mr. Rutskoi puts it, he is just planning to inform his colleagues of the irregularities committed against him. According to Mr. Rutskoi, he is not going to make much noise about it and will not demand to summon General Procurator or Central Election Committee’s Chairman nor urge them to adopt resolutions whatever.
