RUSSIAN VICE-PREMIER TO MODERATE GEORGIAN PRESIDENT’ DEMANDS

Yesterday, the Russia’s delegation headed by vice-premier Ilya Klebanov arrived in the Republic of Georgia. 2-day talks are to be devoted to the pulling of Russian military bases out of Georgia. On arrival, Mr. Klebanov told journalists that the Russian part was intending to propose a new schedule of the pullout. Russian equipment and vehicles will not be handed over to Georgians, he stressed. He called Georgia’s claims in relation to former Soviet Union’s property sharing ungrounded.
