Vladimir Putin is offended

Russian President Vladimir Putin responded to the beginning of negotiations in Egypt for adjustment of Near-Eastern problems. Pravda.ru have already announced, that Russia was not invited to these negotiations. RIA “Novosti” quotes the President’s statement: Russia is ready to take part in the talks only in case it is “useful” for the main participants of the process – Israel and Palestine and only if they ask for it. The Near East is not far from our borders, clained the President. He wished good luck to the participants of the negotiations and expressed hope that they would manage to make constructive decisions. The Russian President gave to US President Bill Clinton, who takes part in the negotiations, his due. According to Putin, the US President took the risk of his authority, in spite of the pre-election situation in the United States.
