Iceland's experience building highly profitable fishing industry is of special interest to Russia. According to the State Piscatorial Committee, this topic will be central during the ongoing talks in Moscow of Russia's President Vladimir Putin with Iceland's President, Уlafur Ragnar Grimsson. The meeting will be also attended by Evgeny Nazdratenko, the head of the State Piscatorial Committee of Russia. The participants of the meeting intend to discuss trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and the activation of the joint fishing commission.
