The Kremlin’s defeat in the first round of the presidential election in Ingushetia has only tempered the power. Though, considering it more attentively, it even could not be called the defeat. It is rather a tactical manoeuvre of the power which takes into account the fact that the question is not about Yakutia, but about Ingushetia, though Yakutia either has its specific. After having stepped the path of war with Gutseriev’s clan, the Kremlin counted beforehand all possible consequences. Therefore, what ever newspapers would write that the first round of the election was won by Ruslan Aushev’s protege, as a fact it is not so. Tuesday, all the documents were confiscated from the headquarters of the candidate for the republic’s president, Alikhan Amirkhanov. This was reported Wednesday by Russian Public Prosecutor General’s Office in South Federal District. The investigation was carried out in the framework of the two actions brought by the republic’s Public Prosecutor’s Office because of bribing the electorate during the first round of the presidential election. The results of the investigators’ work appeared in time. Yesterday, it was declared that Ingush Public Prosecutor’s General had established facts of bribing the electorate. According to deputy Public Prosecutor General of the city of Malgobek, Beksolt Polonkoev, the investigation gathered materials witnessing the fact of bribing the electorate by one of the candidates’ headquarters, to be more precise, of Alikhan Amirkhanov, and the fact of unlawful agitation the day before the election. April 8, an action was brought about “hindering from realization of electoral rights or from work of election commissions, burdened with bribing and deception.” The action is reported to have been accused according to the citizens’ complaints. The deputy Public Prosecutor did not exclude that the accusation would be brought in the nearest future. According to him, the case will be handed over to Ingush Public Prosecutor General. Indeed, the court machine works fast.
