The Kursk submarine has been separated from the Giant-4 barge and put into drydock #50 of the Roslyakovo ship-repairing plant near Murmansk. According to Northern Fleet spokesman Vladimir Navrotsky, the submarine was separated through "releasing" the 26 grips and cables with hydraulic devices. He said that experts of the Rubin central design bureau and the Dutch Mammoet firm were deciding when and in which way the barge and the two pontoons employed to put the submarine into drydock should be towed from it.
