Rostov Experts Do Not Find Anthrax Spores In Letter From Britain

Experts with the Rostov anti-plague institute have not found anthrax spores in the powder a local resident had received in a letter from Great Britain. This is what RIA Novosti was told at the anti-plague institute of Rostov-on-Don, Russia's Southern Federal District. The suspicious letter was discovered in post office 31 of the town of Taganrog, Rostov region. The power spilt from a torn envelope while post officers were sorting the mail. They immediately summoned experts. The content of the envelope was sent to Rostov for an examination. It was the second time over the past two weeks the anti-plague institute tested the correspondence for anthrax.
