"Russian Lumber Industry In 21st Century" International Forum Opening In St. Petersburg

The 3rd international forum "Russian Lumber Industry in the 21st Century" is opening in St. Petersburg on Tuesday. A spokesman for the RESTEK exhibition association has told RIA Novosti that the forum's programme includes 13 conferences and round-table discussions devoted to the development of the Russian lumber industry, the modernization of lumber industry enterprises, and investment projects. Simultaneously, specialized exhibitions will be opened at the Lenexpo Exhibition Centre, which will feature equipment involved in the entire production cycle, from wood-cutting to furniture and paper production. The forum and exhibitions have attracted over 500 companies and organizations from 38 Russian regions and 19 other countries. The form will continue until October 20.
