Transport police are currently focusing their search for a "telephone terrorist", who reported that there was an explosive device on board a flight bound for Hamburg from St.Petersburg, on a list of late passengers. The press service of the Interior Ministry's north-west transport department announced on Monday that the anonymous call had been made to St.Petersburg's Pulkovo airport on Sunday. Airport security cordoned off the plane and evacuated the passengers and crew. However, no explosive device was found on board the plane. Nevertheless, Pulkovo control decided to change the plane in question and the flight eventually took off two hours late at 20.05. Transport police ran a check which showed that seven passengers were late for the flight. The "telephone terrorist" will be sought chiefly amongst these names.
